Botswana Innovation Fund (BIF) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the NEXA Climate and Health Innovation Funding Opportunity, a global initiative co-led by Grand Challenges Canada and the Science for Africa Foundation.
The funding call is seeking innovative solutions that address the health impacts of climate change through adaptation, resilience, and mitigation. Eligible applicants from Botswana are encouraged to apply.
Funding of up to USD 200,000 is available for Proof of Concept projects, while successful innovations may be eligible for up to USD 2 million under the Transition to Scale stream.
Application Deadline: 22 July 2026.
